About the Evolution DAC-2
The NuPrime Evolution DAC-2 is a reference-class DAC and digital preamplifier built around dual ESS Technology ES9038Q2M converters, with separate decoding for the left and right channels to improve channel separation and reduce noise. It supports nine digital inputs and two analog line inputs, includes a variable or fixed output mode, and uses C-Core transformers in its power supply section. The unit also features NuPrime’s PSRC sample-rate conversion architecture, native MQA decoding, and DSD playback/upconversion support.
