About the IA7 Version 2
The NuForce IA-7 Version 2 is an integrated stereo amplifier featuring 100W per channel output with 24,000uF capacitance and a 200W SMPS power supply. It offers a frequency response from 20 Hz to 120 kHz (-3dB), very low distortion (THD+N = 0.1% at 1kHz, 10W, 4 ohm load), and a high damping factor for excellent speaker control. The amplifier uses NuForce's proprietary Analog Switching Amplifier technology, which employs a high-performance analog modulation technique and closed-loop control system to deliver ultra-low distortion, wide bandwidth, and no phase shift. It includes remote input selection and volume control with memory retention of last settings. The unit has four RCA line-level inputs (one configurable as pre-out), and speaker binding posts that accept spade lugs or banana plugs. The chassis is made of high-grade brushed and anodized aluminum to reduce resonance, measuring 1.75" H x 8.5" W x 16" D and weighing approximately 9 lbs. The IA-7 V2 is designed for worldwide AC voltage compatibility (110-240VAC).
