About the Pulsar Points

Nordost Pulsar Points are precision-engineered resonance and vibration control devices developed to improve audio system performance by minimizing mechanical noise and unwanted resonances. Each set includes four points, available in aluminum (model PP4) or titanium (model PP4Ti). Each Pulsar Point consists of an upward-facing cone recessed into a hemisphere, topped by a short cylinder of the same metal with a conical recess and threaded hole to allow attachment of an 8mm threaded rod, replacing traditional speaker spikes. They can be placed under speakers or components to provide stable, single-point contact and effective vibration damping. The design allows for improved sound clarity and balance by isolating equipment from floor or rack vibrations.
