About the Motive SX3
The Neat Acoustics Motive SX3 is a two-way bass reflex standmount loudspeaker designed for high-quality audio reproduction in smaller spaces or as rear speakers in multi-channel systems. Despite its compact size, it delivers an open, strikingly clear sound with faithful dynamics and a focused stereo image. The SX3 features a new and upgraded 25mm inverted anodised aluminium dome tweeter, typically found in more expensive high-end loudspeakers, and a 134mm bass/mid driver for a superb blend of speed, articulation, and bass extension. The bass reflex port is located at the bottom of the rear panel, contributing to its agile and surprisingly deep bass response. The enclosure is built from high-grade MDF with extensive internal damping and bracing for improved sound quality. The crossover uses high-grade, customised components hard-wired for a cleaner signal path and increased resolution. The Motive SX3 is finished in real wood veneers or satin white, offering both aesthetic appeal and acoustic benefits.
