About the 3020
The NAD 3020 is the original stereo integrated amplifier introduced in 1978, not the later 3020i or the modern D 3020. Designed by Bjørn Erik Edvardsen, it combines a 20-watt-per-channel amplifier with a moving-magnet phono stage, tone controls, a loudness control, headphone output, and NAD’s switchable Soft Clipping circuit. Its preamplifier and power-amplifier sections can be separated using rear-panel connections. The original model is discontinued.
