About the 1155
The NAD 1155 is a stereo preamplifier introduced in the mid-1980s. It has a phono stage switchable between moving-magnet (MM) and moving-coil (MC) cartridges, with selectable phono capacitance, plus CD/video, tuner, and two tape connections. Separate record and listening selectors allow recording from one source while listening to another. It provides normal and high-level preamplifier outputs for connection to a power amplifier.
