About the Signature Platinum
The My Sonic Lab Signature Platinum is a premium moving coil phono cartridge that represents the pinnacle of designer Yoshio Matsudaira's work. It features a unique SH-μX magnetic core, which offers higher permeability and flux density compared to traditional iron cores. This allows for fewer coil windings, reducing distortion and maximizing signal output. The cartridge is housed in a Black Ion Titanium body, which eliminates audible resonance, and utilizes a Boron cantilever for enhanced rigidity and speed. The semi-line contact stylus ensures precise tracking and detailed sound reproduction. The Signature Platinum is praised for its neutral tonality and ability to reveal new layers of information in music.
