The Musical Fidelity M2si integrated amplifier applies premium amplifier technology from the flagship Titan model to a more affordable price point. It delivers 72 watts per channel into 8 ohms and 137 watts into 4 ohms, capable of driving a wide range of speakers including power-hungry models. The amplifier features a fully discrete Class A/B power amp design with a dedicated power supply and a large toroidal transformer, ensuring strong power reserves and dynamic range. It includes a Class A preamp stage with its own independent power supply, providing the sonic benefits of a pre/power configuration in a compact one-box design. Connectivity includes six line-level RCA inputs, preamp outputs for bi-amping, and switchable home-theatre throughput. The volume control uses a high-quality Burr-Brown stepped attenuator for excellent channel matching and low noise. The chassis is robustly built from metal with solid metal controls, designed to minimize electromagnetic interference.
