About the KW DM25 Transport
The Musical Fidelity kW DM25 Transport is a premium CD player utilizing a Philips disc mechanism that separates the digital data stream into left and right mono signals and upsamples to 96kHz for reduced jitter and distortion. Intended primarily for use with the matching kW DM25 DAC, which further upsamples to 192kHz using a double dual-differential 24-bit architecture. This discontinued product from around 2005 offers exceptional technical performance with near-non-existent jitter and outstanding signal-to-noise ratio when paired with its DAC. It supports standard Red Book CDs and features a universal remote control for playback functions including shuffle and programmed play.
