About the HTS 5000

The Monster Power HTS 5000 Reference PowerCenter is a rack-mountable power conditioner designed for home-theater and high-fidelity audio/video systems. Its Stage 4 Clean Power circuitry uses five discrete filter sections to isolate digital, analog-audio, video, and high-current components, helping reduce power-line noise and cross-component interference. An IsoBarrier transformer separates digital and analog sections. The unit provides ten AC outlets, programmable as switched, unswitched, or delayed-switched, along with coaxial and telephone-line surge protection. It is rated for 2,775 joules of surge suppression and includes connected-equipment protection. Front-panel features include an analog line-voltage meter, adjustable meter illumination, status indicators, and control switches. Remote AC/DC control inputs, gold-plated signal-protection connections, a high-current power cord, and included rack ears are also provided. The HTS 5000 measures approximately 17-3/16 inches wide by 3-15/16 inches high by 16-1/2 inches deep.
