About the M2.4S

The Monster Cable M Series M2.4S is a bi-wire speaker cable from Monster's classic M Series line, designed for high-performance home audio systems and popular in the late 1980s and 1990s. It uses a four-core / multiple-gauge conductor network intended for bi-wire or bi-amp configurations, with separate conductors to feed high- and low-frequency sections of compatible loudspeakers. The cable is typically finished with factory banana plug terminations and was often sold in pre-cut lengths (e.g., 8 ft, 9 ft, 15 ft) targeted at audiophile and high-end home theater installations. Known as a 'vintage gold' M Series model, the M2.4S features Monster's robust construction and insulation, aimed at improved frequency and phase response compared with their entry-level speaker cables.
