About the Liquid Platinum
The Monolith Liquid Platinum is a desktop hybrid headphone amplifier designed by Alex Cavalli. Its tube input stage uses two 6922 tubes, while a solid-state output stage provides fully differential balanced amplification. It accepts balanced XLR and single-ended RCA analog inputs, and provides a 4-pin XLR balanced headphone output and a 1/4-inch single-ended output. An RCA loop-through output is also provided; the unit has no built-in DAC.
