The ModWright Oppo 105 is a high-end audio modification of the Oppo BDP-105 Blu-ray player. It incorporates significant upgrades to enhance audio quality, making it suitable for audiophiles seeking a richer sound experience. Key modifications include a total redesign of the single-ended and balanced output stages with ModWright's tube analog stage, utilizing two 6SN7 driver tubes. An external power supply is included, featuring a rectifier tube (5AR4 or equivalents) and two voltage regulator tubes (13EM7 or equivalents). Other upgrades include Cardas RCA connectors, a Furutech cryo-treated IEC, high-quality resistors, cryo-treated silver wire, and damping mods for the chassis and transport.
