About the Christine
The Merrill Audio Christine Reference is a high-end, fully balanced line-stage preamplifier from Merrill Audio. It uses a two-box design with the control unit separated from the external Kratos power supply via a dedicated umbilical, and it is controlled by an Apple remote rather than front-panel knobs or buttons. Reviews describe it as an unusually wide-bandwidth design with programmable input settings and dual outputs, aimed at very low-noise, high-resolution performance.
