The MB Quart D-55 is a 2.5-way floorstanding speaker, featuring two 160mm woofers and a 25mm tweeter. It is designed to provide a wide range of finishes, allowing users to customize the speaker's appearance to match their decor. The speaker's front panel is made of 3/4-inch medium-density fiberboard, covered with veneer, and is removable for easy customization. The crossover network includes a first-order low-pass filter for the bottom woofer and a more complex third-order low-pass filter for the top woofer, along with a third-order high-pass filter for the tweeter. The frequency response is rated from 32 Hz to 22 kHz, ±3 dB, with a sensitivity of 90 dB at 1 meter, 1 watt applied.
