About the 4270
The Marantz 4270 is a vintage stereo and quadraphonic receiver with an AM/FM tuner and an integrated four-channel amplifier. Its Vari-Matrix circuit can derive a four-channel presentation from two-channel stereo, and it can also play matrix-encoded and discrete four-channel sources, as well as conventional stereo and mono. It includes a built-in Dolby noise-reduction system, phono and auxiliary inputs, tape connections, and separate pre-out/main-in connections.
