The Marantz 2238B is a vintage two-channel stereo receiver combining an FM/MW tuner with a solid-state amplifier. Its rated output is 38 watts per channel into 8 ohms with both channels driven across 20 Hz–20 kHz, at 0.08% total harmonic distortion. It includes MM phono, auxiliary and tape inputs, pre-out/main-in connections, two speaker outputs, and bass, midrange and treble controls.
