About the SR5012

The Marantz SR5012 is a 7.2-channel network AV receiver with a discrete 7-channel amplifier delivering 100 watts per channel into 8 ohms (20 Hz–20 kHz, 0.08% THD, 2ch driven). It supports Dolby Atmos (up to 5.1.2) and DTS:X for immersive 3D, object-based surround sound, and includes Audyssey MultEQ XT with Dynamic EQ and Dynamic Volume for room calibration and response optimization. For video, the SR5012 provides 8 HDMI inputs (including 1 front) and 2 HDMI outputs with 4K/60 Hz full-rate pass-through, 4:4:4 color, BT.2020, HDR, Dolby Vision, and Hybrid Log Gamma (HLG) support, plus analog-to-HDMI conversion and upscaling. All HDMI inputs support HDCP 2.2 for copy-protected 4K content. Networking and streaming features include dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, AirPlay, and built-in HEOS multi-room audio, enabling playback from online services such as Spotify, TIDAL, Deezer, and TuneIn internet radio. The receiver supports high-resolution audio formats including DSD 2.8/5.6 MHz, FLAC, ALAC, and WAV via network or USB. An on-screen Setup Assistant, color-coded speaker terminals, and the Marantz AVR Remote app simplify installation, while an Intelligent ECO mode reduces power consumption.
