CC5 vs CCR
The CCR's impedance is 3Ω against the CC5's 4Ω and its high-frequency extension 40 kHz against 20 kHz. Both share sensitivity (88 dB) and low-frequency extension (200 Hz).

About the CC5
The Magnepan CC5 is a planar-magnetic, dipole center-channel speaker featuring a curved, two-way quasi-ribbon midrange/tweeter and quasi-ribbon super-tweeter. It has a 200 Hz–20 kHz frequency response, 88 dB sensitivity, and a demanding 3-ohm impedance. The 36-inch-wide, low-profile cabinet can be wall-mounted with a compatible articulated bracket or stand-mounted, and is intended for integration with Magnepan home-theater systems. Because its response begins at 200 Hz, full-range center-channel performance may require suitable bass management or augmentation with a Magnepan DWM bass panel.
