About the CZ-Gel
The Madrigal CZ-Gel is a premium interconnect cable designed to provide the clearest possible path for analog audio signals between components. It features a helical array of conductors engineered to maintain a consistent, controlled impedance throughout its length, optimizing amplitude and time domain performance. The cable uses a patented dielectric gel that fills the spaces between dielectric spacers, matching their dielectric constant to ensure uniform impedance and eliminate electrical discontinuities. This gel also dampens vibrations, reducing microphonic colorations and maintaining a stable physical relationship between conductors. Available in both balanced (XLR) and single-ended (RCA) configurations, the CZ-Gel cable delivers exceptional transparency, dynamics, and detail, making it ideal for reference-quality audio systems. Originally designed by Madrigal Labs for use with Madrigal, Levinson, and Proceed equipment, it remains highly regarded for its neutrality and signal fidelity.
