About the Klyde
The Linn Klyde is a low-output moving-coil phono cartridge with an 8 g body, a Vital stylus, and a 1.2 mm gold-plated pin connection. It has a compliance of 10 cu, an output of 150 µV at 5 cm/s at 1 kHz, and requires a recommended load above 50 ohms. Channel separation is better than 30 dB at 1 kHz, with channel balance within 0.5 dB. Linn specifies a tracking force of 1.55–1.75 g and recommends a rigid, medium-mass tonearm. The Klyde is a discontinued cartridge.
