About the Stereo 30
The LEAK Stereo 30 is a vintage two-channel solid-state integrated amplifier, introduced in the early 1960s as the company’s first transistor amplifier. Its left and right channels use separate, matching circuits with germanium transistors and a quasi-complementary output stage. The original documentation describes inputs for sources including records, tape, radio and microphones, along with tone controls. Published output ratings are 10 watts per channel into 15 ohms or 15 watts per channel into 4 ohms; these are load-dependent ratings, not a 30-watt-per-channel specification.
