About the Duo 125 XD
The Krell Duo 125 XD is a stereo power amplifier designed around Krell’s iBias Class A architecture and XD (Xtended Dynamics, Dimensionality & Detail) output-stage optimization. It is a fully balanced amplifier with both RCA and XLR inputs, network connectivity via Ethernet, and an internal web interface for setup, monitoring, and firmware updates. Krell positions the XD version as an evolution of the iBias amplifiers, emphasizing lower output impedance, improved control of speaker drivers, and enhanced detail and soundstage performance.
