About the KSF-S5
The Klipsch Synergy Series KSF-S5 surround speaker was introduced in 1997 and manufactured until 1999. It features Klipsch's exclusive Wide-Dispersion Surround Technology, which uses two drivers aligned at 90° to create a wide and immersive surround sound field. The speaker has a high sensitivity of approximately 90-93 dB, making it efficient and capable of producing realistic sound levels for surround channel applications. It has a nominal impedance of 8 ohms and can handle 100 watts continuous power with peaks up to 400 watts. The KSF-S5 is designed as a rear surround horn speaker, often used in home theater setups to complement front and center speakers for a full surround sound experience. It was available in a rare white finish and is now discontinued.
