The Kimber Kable KS 1116 Select Series is Kimber's finest all-copper balanced analog interconnect, designed as the introduction to their premium Select range. It utilizes six solid core hyper-pure, molecularly optimized copper conductors with a 2:1 rectangular profile, arranged in a constrained matrix orthogonally braided geometry around an X-38R core compound. V-fluorocarbon insulation maintains conductor purity, while ESD yarn minimizes electromagnetic interference. This construction drastically reduces background noise and noise floor, delivering a silent backdrop, increased dynamic detail, vast soundstage, natural tonality, and realistic dynamics. Meticulously hand-built by the same team for over 10 years, it features studio-grade Switchcraft XLR connectors with silver-plated contacts.
