About the Silver Streak
Kimber Kable's Silver Streak is the company's first copper/silver hybrid analog interconnect, using a three-wire braid of two TCSS copper conductors and one AGSS silver conductor in a VariStrand tri-braid geometry for low loss and high flexibility. The silver conductor carries the signal while the copper conductors complete the return/ground, combining copper's warmth with silver's clarity for a smooth, rich, wide-open sound with excellent dynamic range and pacing. A low-loss fluorocarbon dielectric and braided construction help minimize capacitance and inductance, preserving speed, clarity, and spaciousness at a price positioned as a true audiophile bargain. Silver Streak is offered in single-ended and balanced configurations with premium terminations, including precision-machined WBT RCA connectors on single-ended versions and high-quality XLR options for balanced versions.
