About the "FOZ" XTR
The Black Ice Audio FOZ XTR is a line-level phono cartridge optimizer that reduces inter-channel crosstalk and compensates for axial tilt/azimuth errors in a vinyl playback chain. It is designed to sit between a phono stage and a line preamplifier, and Black Ice states it works with moving magnet, moving iron, and moving coil cartridges. The unit includes a built-in meter for calibration with a test LP and is intended to improve channel separation, stereo imaging, and clarity without changing the phono stage itself.
