About the Fusion Tube
The Jolida Fusion Tube DAC Transport is a high-performance audio component combining a CD transport and a DAC with an all-tube dual mono circuit design. It supports coaxial, SPDIF (Toslink), and USB inputs, and provides unbalanced (RCA) and balanced (XLR) analog outputs, as well as coaxial and Toslink digital outputs. The unit uses a pair of each 12AX7A, 12AT7, and 12AU7 tubes per channel, operated at 12V for extended tube life (up to 20,000 hours). The DAC section employs the ESS ES9018K2M Sabre 32-bit reference DAC IC supporting up to 24-bit/192kHz PCM and DSD64/DSD128 formats, with a TE7022 USB audio processor running up to 32-bit/96kHz. The design is fully tube-based after digital-to-analog conversion, with no solid-state components in the audio path, delivering a warm and smooth sound signature. It features a frequency response of 20Hz-20kHz (±0.5dB), bandwidth of 10Hz-70kHz (+/-1dB), dynamic range of 126dB, signal-to-noise ratio over 98dB, THD+N distortion ≤0.01%, and balanced channel separation greater than 96dB at 1kHz. The unit weighs approximately 28 lbs and is available in white or black finishes. It is highly regarded for its stylish design and audiophile sound quality.
