About the System C
The Jensen System C series speakers were developed due to the scarcity and high cost of cobalt used in AlNiCo magnets. These speakers use ceramic magnets which are larger but less expensive, while maintaining similar cones and voice coils to the AlNiCo series, thus providing a comparable tone at a reduced price. They are vintage ceramic speakers designed primarily for guitar amplification, known for their characteristic sound and durability.
