About the 7
The Jeff Rowland Model 7 is a solid-state monophonic power amplifier rated at 350 watts RMS continuous into 8 ohms, 700 watts into 4 ohms, and 1,100 watts into 2 ohms. Its power bandwidth is specified as 0.15 Hz–175 kHz at −3 dB, with a 50 V/µs slew rate, low distortion, and a damping factor greater than 300 from 20 Hz to 20 kHz into 8 ohms. The amplifier provides selectable input impedance of 100 kΩ, 20 kΩ, or 600 ohms and has 26.4 dB voltage gain. It uses a high-current solid-state output stage designed to drive difficult loudspeaker loads. The Model 7 measures approximately 480 × 220 × 610 mm (19 × 8.75 × 24 in).
