About the Studio 580
The JBL Studio 580 is a passive, two-way floorstanding loudspeaker with a ported enclosure. It uses two 6.5-inch PolyPlas woofers with Symmetrical Field Geometry magnet structures and a 1-inch compression driver with a Teonex diaphragm on a glass-filled ABS Bi-Radial horn. It has dual gold-plated binding posts that support bi-wiring and was offered in black or cherry finishes.
