About the L82 Classic
The JBL L82 Classic is a compact, passive two-way bookshelf loudspeaker, sold as a mirror-image pair. It combines an 8-inch pure-pulp cone woofer with a 1-inch titanium-dome tweeter and waveguide, in a front-ported bass-reflex enclosure. The cabinet has a genuine satin walnut veneer, and the removable Quadrex foam grille was offered in black, orange, or blue. A front-panel high-frequency level control allows treble adjustment.
