About the L19
The JBL L19 is a compact, passive two-way bass-reflex loudspeaker introduced in the late 1970s. It uses a 200 mm (8-inch) 116A low-frequency driver and a 36 mm cone high-frequency driver (commonly identified as the LE26), with a passive crossover at 2.5 kHz. The cabinet was offered in a walnut finish with a fabric grille. Published specifications list an 8-ohm nominal impedance and 87 dB sensitivity; power-handling figures vary by source and rating method, with JBL literature recommending up to 100 watts per channel.
