About the EMB-1000 Studio
The James Loudspeaker EMB1000 is a compact powered subwoofer using Energy Multiplied Bandpass (EMB) technology. It combines a 10-inch active aluminum-cone woofer with a pneumatically coupled 10-inch passive radiator in a tuned enclosure to extend low-frequency output from 25Hz to 150Hz (±3dB). A built-in 600-watt Class D plate amplifier provides dedicated power, while the compact MDF cabinet is finished in Studio Black. The enclosure measures approximately 12.13 inches high, 16.69 inches wide, and 12.76 inches deep. Its powered design and compact form make it suitable for augmenting stereo loudspeakers or home-theater systems.
