About the MFV15H
The Icon Audio MFV15H is a large, passive, high-efficiency horn loudspeaker inspired by the TAD 2402. It combines a 15-inch bass driver with a 5-inch horn-mounted compression/pressure driver. Icon Audio states that the original TAD 2402 has been out of production for several years and presents the MFV15H as a faithful replica intended to produce a large soundstage with relatively modestly powered valve amplifiers. The horn assembly is made from plywood, and the high-frequency crossover/filter is encapsulated in resin to reduce vibration.
