About the HPS-938
The HPS-938 is a three-way, four-driver floorstanding loudspeaker built as two separate enclosures: an upper midrange-and-tweeter cabinet and a dedicated bass cabinet. It uses two 8-inch P.P. graphite S.V.F. woofers, a 6.5-inch carbon-fiber S.V.F. midrange driver with M.F.D.S., and a 1-inch silk-dome tweeter with a copper short horn. The manufacturer describes the design as completed in 2003. The standard HPS-938 finish is black piano high gloss; the related HPS-938W is offered in bird’s-eye maple.
