The MFL-6 (Multi-Functional Loudspeaker) from HSU Research replaces previous models like HB-1 and HC-1, offering high sensitivity, power handling, and adaptable placement options including vertical, horizontal, inverted, wall-mounted, or ceiling-mounted configurations via keyhole mounts. Its 30-degree angled front provides automatic toe-in for mains or pre-tilt for center channel use, with removable feet for bottom-firing port clearance or side-firing as center. It features a constant-directivity horn waveguide tweeter for smooth off-axis dispersion, a woofer, and bass extension to -3dB at 55 Hz. Reviews note relaxed, smooth, detailed sound but highlight elevated upper treble and directivity issues requiring EQ. Priced at $279 per speaker, it's available in bundles for home theater setups.
