The GUSTARD U26 is a high-end USB digital-to-digital converter (DDC), designed to take USB audio from a computer or streamer and deliver it to an external DAC via dual I²S-over-HDMI, AES/EBU, RCA/BNC S/PDIF, or optical TOSLINK. Its design includes an Amanero-based USB audio platform with ARM Cortex-M7 processing, galvanic isolation between the USB and digital sections, CPLD signal processing, temperature-controlled low-phase-noise OCXO clocking, and an internal linear power supply. It accepts an optional 10 MHz external reference clock. Note that its HDMI sockets carry non-standard LVDS I²S signals and must not be connected to a conventional HDMI input.
