The Grant Fidelity TubeDAC-11 is a high-fidelity vacuum tube digital-to-analog converter designed to enhance the sound quality of digital sources by adding tube warmth and refinement. It supports up to 24-bit/192kHz high-resolution signals and features five selectable inputs: two RCA analog, one coaxial, one optical, and one USB. The unit offers two RCA outputs: one solid state with volume control and one tube buffered output using a 6N11 vacuum tube (which can be replaced with other compatible tubes such as 6922, E88CC, 6DJ8, 6H23n, and CCa). It also includes a DAC direct output that bypasses the tube stage and volume control for use with external amplification. The built-in transistor headphone amplifier supports headphones with impedance as low as 16 ohms, while the tube output is recommended for headphones over 300 ohms impedance. The TubeDAC-11 can function as a USB DAC, headphone amplifier, tube processor for analog signals, digital decoder, and preamplifier with volume control.
