About the K5 Pro
The FiiO K5 Pro is a desktop DAC and headphone amplifier with USB, optical, coaxial, and analog RCA inputs, plus a 6.35 mm headphone output and RCA line output. This original K5 Pro uses an AKM AK4493 DAC and XMOS XUF208 USB interface; it is distinct from the later K5 Pro ESS, which uses an ESS DAC. Its USB input supports PCM up to 768 kHz/32-bit and native DSD512, while optical and coaxial inputs support up to 192 kHz. Three gain settings and a high-current headphone amplifier support a range of headphones.
