About the BTR5
The FiiO BTR5 is a portable Bluetooth receiver and headphone amplifier that can also function as a USB DAC. The original BTR5 uses dual ESS ES9218P DAC chips, a Qualcomm CSR8675 Bluetooth chip, and an XMOS XUF208 USB controller. It supports Bluetooth 5.0 audio codecs including SBC, AAC, aptX, aptX Low Latency, aptX HD, and LDAC, and provides 3.5 mm single-ended and 2.5 mm balanced headphone outputs. Its OLED display, built-in microphone, NFC pairing, and 550 mAh battery are integrated into a compact aluminum-bodied device. This description refers to the original BTR5, not the later BTR5 2021 revision.
