About the Exposure MCX
The Exposure MCX is a full-size CD player and digital-to-analogue converter from Exposure’s MCX component range. It provides balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA analogue outputs, rated at 4V RMS and 2V RMS respectively, along with digital connectivity including AES/EBU, coaxial BNC and optical inputs/outputs. The unit measures 490 × 414 × 104 mm (W × D × H) and weighs approximately 20 kg. Its digital section supports high-resolution sources up to 24-bit/192kHz through the appropriate inputs. The MCX uses PCM1704 multi-bit DACs; the Philips TDA1545 and Continuous Calibration details should not be attributed to this model.
