The key modification involves replacing the original analog output stage with a direct feed through high-quality film capacitors to a new two-stage, directly coupled tube analog stage with actively loaded, low impedance outputs. This tube stage uses high voltage proprietary shunt regulators and fully regulated filaments, with 1% metal film resistors and a separate outboard power supply connected via a fully shielded umbilical cord.
