About the E38 Multi Channel
The exaSound E38 is an eight-channel digital-to-analog converter designed for multichannel audio systems. It uses ESS Technology’s ES9028PRO DAC, supports asynchronous USB audio and digital S/PDIF inputs, and handles high-resolution PCM and DSD256 playback. The E38 is the original model; the ES9038PRO chip and redesigned clock and reference-voltage circuitry belong to the subsequent E38 Mark II.
