About the DAC-Z8
The DAC-Z8 is a desktop digital-to-analog converter with a fully balanced preamplifier and a built-in headphone amplifier. It uses an ESS ES9038Pro DAC and XMOS XU316 audio processor, with USB-B, USB-C, optical, coaxial, and Bluetooth inputs. It supports up to stereo DSD512 and PCM 768 kHz/32-bit over USB, and provides balanced XLR and RCA preamp outputs plus a 6.35 mm single-ended headphone output.
