The Esoteric K-03XD SE Black Edition is a high-end Super Audio CD and CD player representing the pinnacle of digital playback technology. This limited edition model (50 units) features a meticulously finished black-anodised exterior while maintaining all the sonic excellence of the standard silver version. The K-03XD SE combines Esoteric's legendary VRDS-ATLAS 03 transport mechanism with their proprietary Master Sound Discrete DAC, both originally developed for the flagship Grandioso models. The SE version incorporates the Master Sound Discrete Clock for Digital Players and refined analog circuitry for enhanced presence, dynamics, and musicality. The substantial 28 kg chassis houses independent digital and analog power supplies with 26 double-layer super capacitors (650,000μF total capacitance), delivering powerful, expansive sound with exceptional resolution. The player features both XLR and RCA analog outputs, plus digital inputs and outputs for flexible system integration.
