About the JSD P 6.0
The EMT JSD P 6.0 is a reference moving-coil (MC) stereo phono cartridge in EMT’s Jubilee series, featuring a multi-facet high-polish diamond stylus (MF HP) mounted on a white sapphire cantilever for extremely precise groove tracing and high resolution. It uses gold-plated AlNiCo magnets and a high-density, rhodium-/platinum-coated metal body (often described as a platinum-finish/"white gold" body), giving a relatively heavy cartridge mass of about 18 g that suits medium- to high-mass tonearms. Output is around 1.05 mV at 5 cm/s, with low compliance (~12-15 µm/mN), recommended tracking force of about 2.3-2.4 g, and a frequency response extending roughly 20 Hz to 30 kHz, with a recommended load of 200-300 Ω, placing it as a high-end EMT design voiced for dense, dynamic, and highly resolved yet natural sound.
