The EgglestonWorks Fontaine Signature is a refined evolution of the original Fontaine stand-mounted monitor, now a floor-standing design that better utilizes cabinet volume. It features dual 6-inch carbon fiber midrange drivers with 3-inch voice coils and a 1-inch dome tweeter with a high-dynamic range voice coil/magnet system. The speaker uses a modified bass-reflex loading system and a cabinet constructed with thick walls and internal damping materials for tight bass and accurate soundstaging. It has an efficiency of 88 dB and a nominal impedance of 8 ohms, making it relatively easy to drive with recommended amplification of at least 80 watts per channel.
