About the Dynastation Tube MK4
The Dynavox Dynastation Tube MK4 is a tube CD player based on a modified Sony PlayStation CD transport housed in a dedicated hi-fi enclosure, with a full valve output stage using 6L6 tubes to lend disc playback a warm, tube-amplified character. It is deliberately spartan: one RCA (cinch) line output, no inputs and no remote control. The player handles pressed CDs along with CD-R and CD-RW discs and supports title programming, but leaves out conveniences such as pitch control, auto-play, shuffle, repeat and CD-Text. The MK4 is an earlier generation of the Dynastation line from Dynavox (Sintron Distribution, Germany); it has been discontinued and is found only used.
