About the DV505
The DV-505 is a bi-axis, inertia-controlled dynamic-balance tonearm. Its heavy main arm moves horizontally while a separately pivoted, lighter sub-arm moves vertically, helping isolate the two planes of motion. Dynavector specifies inertia-controlled dynamic and electromagnetic damping to control low-frequency arm resonance. The design includes a removable headshell and spring-adjusted tracking force.
